Product Overview
The TrueCare Blister Inspection System is a camera inspection system mounted on the blister packing machine, inspecting every pocket before sealing. It detects empty pockets, broken, chipped or half tablets, double tablets, wrong colour or wrong product, open or dented capsules and foreign particles. Defective blisters are tracked through the machine and rejected at the punching station, so only fully correct strips reach the carton. Easy product teaching, recipe storage and reject statistics make it suitable for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical blister lines (Alu-PVC and Alu-Alu, confirm).

Applications
A Blister Inspection System is an advanced machine vision and sensor-based quality control solution designed to inspect pharmaceutical and medical blister packs (containing tablets, capsules, pills, or soft gels) before they leave the packaging line.
These systems use high-resolution industrial cameras, specialized lighting, and intelligent software algorithms to check every single pocket of a blister sheet for structural integrity, correct product placement, and safety compliance.
Primary Applications
- Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical Manufacturing:
- Tablet & Capsule Presence/Absence: Detecting empty pockets (missing pills) in a blister strip caused by feeder skips or bridged tablets before they reach secondary cartoning.
- Broken or Damaged Product Detection: Identifying cracked, chipped, broken, or half-filled tablets and capsules trapped inside the sealed foil pocket.
- Colour & Shape Verification: Ensuring the correct medication, dosage strength, or color-coded pill is placed in the designated cavity, preventing dangerous product mix-ups on multi-product lines
